Name: Snarf Osbert Race: Snarf Occupation: ThunderCat Warrior [Although snarf doesn't wear the ThunderCats insignia, he is still an extremely valuable part of the team. More than once he's been able to save members of the group, and his cooking can't be all bad or they'd have S-s-slithe long ago. He also does all of the around the house chores for the most part, and is very helpful in the public relations department. On Thundera, when Lion-o was a cub, he was the young lord's keeper.] Weapon: Teeth, tail, and claws. [Snarves can be vicious little critters at times, and not something to mess with. They are liable to smack you with their tail, bite you, and even scratch at you with their claws. And if that isn't enough, they'll start singing - then you know you're in trouble. Snarf has also been seen chewing through wood and using his tail as a climbing aid (or an un-falling aid, depending on the situation).] Special Abilities: Snarf tends to be able to talk to some types of animals, or at the very least, understand a few of them. Snarves are also supposedly not able to be evil, which comes into play during "Mad Bubbler".
Love Interests: Snarf never had a definate love interest, but there was once a nice little scene showing him day dreaming about dancing with a female snarf. That's as good as it gets, folks. Episodes
of Interest: Every episode that is a Lion-o episode is almost always a
Snarf episode! And since every episode is a Lion-o episode...you get the
idea. Snarf, and snarves in general, were highly, highly marketed during
this cartoon's reign on the airwaves. If you're looking for some really
snarfy episodes, though, try "The Terror of Hammerhand", "Snarf
Takes Up the Challenge", and "Bracelet of Power". Catch Phrase & Quotes: "Schnarf, Schnarf..."
Final Thoughts: Snarf was the subject around which many jokes were formed, basically, the ThunderCat jester, if you will. But he was a fairly good fighter when he needed to be. Have a catch phrase or quote you think should be here? Just dying to add some info I missed? E-mail me! |
