The short story, from the bunny's mouth:
First, although there are some things here for everyone, there are some things here not meant to be seen by elflings. That said, good little elflings will heed the warnings when they reach them, and bad little elflings probably didn't stop to read this warning, so there's not much to be done about that anyway.
This place has some het, and some slash. Het, meaning a boy elf and a girl elf fall in love and do the kind of things that a boy elf and a girl elf would do in a talan of their own. Slash, meaning you substitute a boy elf for the girl elf or vice versa, and things still happen in the talan.
In short, if you don't want to see Haldir end up with both a girl elf (we'll call the girl elf an elleth) and a boy elf (we'll just call the boy elf an elf), then this may not be your cup of miruvor. Yes, that just blew one of the main plot points, but trust me, there's enough plot to go around so that the stories will still be interesting for you to read, and I just feel a lot better having that out in the open. Right then. I hardly reach beyond a rating of PG-13, however, so you aren't going to find a whole lot of rocking flets, if you get my drift. The mellyrn just aren't stable enough to handle too much of that these days anyhow.

For anyone confused about purple bunnies and pink sea birds...
In Valinor, Haldir sleeps with a purple bunny named Nibbles, a stuffed rabbit that was a gift from his nephews, Elrohir and Elladan. Haldir lives with the rest of his immediate family, including his brother-in-law, Elrond, in the First Homely House of Valinor. Because of a birthday prank played on Elrond by his wonderful in-laws (excluding Galadriel, who would never do such a thing *wink wink*), the house now has a lovely pink fence with pickets shaped like flamingos, hence named by Haldir to be the House of the Pink Sea Birds. The house has one resident flamingo, a perky bird named Mitzi.
Ten points if you know why that would be. Ten more if you laugh when I tell you the flamingo was almost named Ralph.
