His hands under the table tease me mercilessly. Into my ear he whispers things that make me burn so hotly that when we are alone at last, in the royal chambers where no spying eyes can reach, my hunger is greater than ever.
He sees me watching him and laughs. He bedazzles me with his beauty, his sublime pantheresque power and grace; and he knows it.
"Herald, this is my favorite course of the evening by far," he murmurs huskily, sliding into my embrace.
Only he can satisfy the hunger of my soul.
