That was SO cute! And sweet. Embarrasing also, I bet. But mostly cute. Also a very imaginative idea. I mean, I've read masked ball stories before, but none where characters can only call out their animal's own distinctive sounds. Makes for an interesting read indeed. Personally, I would have liked this to go on longer, if for no other reason than to witness another seduction where some predatory animal does not threaten a weaker one. But on the other hand, adding any more would ruin this, I think. So, as far as this story goes, I think it's perfect just the way it is. (It's mainly just me...
